Every pharmaceutical product has a potential side effect, that’s just how things work. This certainly isn’t by fault of the companies behind the products, so why can’t the industry be more open about it? Perhaps pharmaceutical companies could even seek profit and market share from being more informative about side effects.

This installation illustrates one way of dealing with the task of informing. Different medicines are linked together graphically by their side effect and how to cure it.

For each product inlays were made containing the personal accounts of people suffering under their side effects.

Moreover, a series of posters were made with the graphics of the packaging. The idea is to advertise for two products at the same time: The product you may need to begin with and another product which cures its side effects.
